Terms and Conditions of BRAC International Employment
Type of Employment:   Contractual
Contract Period:
Thirty six (36) months from the date of joining in deployed country.
Salary:
Salary is consolidated and income tax on salary and benefit will be deducted at source if applicable.
Benefits:
- Food allowance of Tk. 5,000/- (Five Thousand) per month.
- Cost free shared bachelors’ accommodation.
- Salary shall be reviewed on the basis of performance after every twelve (12) months of service.
- Thirty (30) days home leave with most direct round trip economy class airfare from assigned country to Bangladesh after completion of every 11 (eleven) months of service in the deployed country.
- The leave is admissible subject to discretion of the country office management.
Other Conditions:
- Contract may be renewed, extended or amended on mutual interest.
- Contract may be terminated by either party at any time by giving one month prior written notice or one month salary in lieu.
- Final payment and settlement will be made from deployed country.
Note:
Generally the employee will join in BRAC Head Office for orientation. After completion of orientation and visa processing, s/he will join in deployed country. Issuance of passport will be his/her own responsibility.
